Overview

The Scheduler/Dispatcher is responsible for creating, coordinating, and maintaining the flight operations schedule in support of all flight training, corporate flights, and other internal and external flight events. The Scheduler/Dispatcher will also be responsible for maintaining records, supportive data, and auditing the scheduling software. The Scheduler/Dispatcher serves a key role in the Flight Logistics team as a single point of contact for scheduling and dispatching needs between Flight Operations, Executive teams, and other departments within Cirrus Aircraft. The Scheduler/Dispatcher is expected to maintain the schedule far enough in advanced to allow for all departments to adequately prepare, coordinate, and plan for the events scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers by embodying the Cirrus Service Essentials and abiding by the Cirrus Guiding Principles.
  • Plan, coordinate, build, and maintain an efficient, safe, and productive schedule that allows departments and personnel throughout Cirrus to meet their goals and objectives which maximizes efficiency and quality of life.
  • Partner with the Flight Training Account Management team, Flight Operations, and Delivery experience to adjust the schedules to accommodate customer, capacity, or production changes.
  • Coordinate with the Fleet Administrators to facilitate aircraft movement for maintenance requirements, Customer and Cirrus needs.
  • Receive, coordinate, and schedule all corporate fight requests in support of the Sales, Marketing and Executive teams travel needs.
  • Ensure all records for training events, corporate flights and ferry flights are compliant with Cirrus' record keeping requirements, applicable FAA/EASA requirements, and any specific accounting requirements.
  • Create a culture of safety and positive quality of life by maintaining the schedule that is compliant with all applicable FAA FAR's, Cirrus Flight Operations Manual and Cirrus' policies and procedures.
  • Assist with escalations due to AOG aircraft, internal or external customer events to ensure timely and effective resolution to the situation, exercising financial decisions as necessary to effectively resolve the issue.
  • Forecast and anticipate the needs of pilots conducting missions domestically and internationally and facilitate expeditious resolution of issues that could arise during the mission.
  • Design and maintain an accurate but flexible capacity and demand model that meets the goals for Flight Training Account Management, Flight Operations, and Delivery Experience.
  • Maintain, track and schedule pilot currency for company pilots.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with executives, customers, and stakeholders to provide accurate scheduling updates and operational information.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor
    degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, related field, or 3 years’
    aircraft scheduling experience.
  • 2–4
    years’ experience in scheduling, dispatching, or related field.
  • Demonstrated
    ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and time-sensitive
    demands.
  • Strong
    problem-solving, resource-allocation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface
    effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred
  • FAA
    Aircraft Dispatcher License.
  • Proficiency
    with scheduling and fleet management software.
